She’s a beautiful white ragdoll with a unique mark on her face so I named her macchiato. Maki for short. Kerri has been fantastic in following up and answering any questions I have as I am a new cat owner. When you reserve a kitten , she sends weekly updates and pictures. She is always there to answer questions. We’ve been very happy with our boy. In April 2025 I was admitted to the ICU.  After months of treatment, physical therapy and speech therapy, I was able to go home. Being a single Mom with two boys and the boys not being able to see mommy took a toll on them.  My cat at the time was taken in graciously by my younger sister, her family and small children in North Carolina. There was something missing because there wasn’t a furry little cat running. I was mediating one morning and I took a break to look at Facebook where I saw so many forums, breeders and people across the country posting kittens for sale. I was meant to look at Facebook that day. I fell in love and immediately wanted a kitty. It was a magical dream and I wasn’t sure how I was going to get a kitty for me and my sweet little family.  That’s when Kari reached out. The love, communication, warmth and the professionalism was top-notch. She communicated with me regularly and kindly offered to show me kittens. There was one male left who was about four months old. I couldn’t turn back! We FaceTimed, shared pictures and my kids got to talk to Marshmallow. We kept in touch after that sweet little boy was dropped off so his nursery Mom knew he was OK. Kari adores these kittens as if they were babies. Marshmallow was brought by courier and when he arrived safe and sound just like Kari had explained we were over the moon. He had a litter box, toys, bedding, blanket, dry food, raw homemade kitten food individuality sealed, treats, catnip, a backpack, litter and of course every single document that proves his breed.  The information was in the details were incredible. He had been microchipped, examined and had his immunizations as well. I have never felt so good about making a decision then I do right now and the disease that I am battling doesn’t seem so heavy anymore. He was loved from the second we were told that he was ours. The joy in our home was forever changed. I didn’t know I had love in my heart like I do for this cat. He’s more than a cat, ragdoll’s are family. Anyone, and I mean anyone can hold, brush, feed, play or sleep with Marshmallow.  He is the most darling cat anyone has ever seen. In fact I have family members who have joked around saying that they’re going to take him home! All of this to say one thing, you can trust and be guaranteed the same professional, warm feeling I received from day one. Oh and did I mention he is stunning! Perfect white hair, beautiful tail, little dark panda ears, pink nose, and his eyes are the most beautiful shade of blue. After a few weeks, we decided to search for a new ragdoll to join our family. We found a Central Iowa Ragdolls through the TICA website and were very impressed with the level of love and care Kari raises her kittens with. She’s both TICA and CFA certified, which is very important when looking for a reputable kitten breeder. She is very knowledgeable about her kittens and answered all of our questions and did a great job at keeping in touch. Every kitten we encountered when meeting her was obviously well cared for and well socialized, as well as beautifully bred. We purchased Aphfurdite (nursery name Strawberry) and fell in love with her playful and cuddly temperament. She  fits right into our family perfectly! Aphfurdite even befriended our (human) baby and now they’re inseparable. They get along great with our Golden retriever. We are very satisfied with the quality of the kitties and the information we have been provided by CIR over the last 6 months.
